Watch the Eastern Canadian Championship Tournament LIVE!

We will be offering a live stream service for the 2024 Eastern Canadian Championships for those of you who are not able to travel to PEI and would still like to watch the games.

It will be on a Pay Per View basis only and professionally broadcasted by Universum Media (coverage of the Canada Games in PEI) and viewed on the AO Live Platform.

The service will be offered on 2 of the 3 rinks this year.  MacLauchlan Arena A and MacLauchlan Arena B.

• Day rate : $10.00
• Early Bird Tournament Pass includes all four days of video coverage : $20.00
• Tournament Pass AFTER March 31 is $25.00 and will include all four days of coverage

Most live streamed videos will have play by play commentary. 

To pay for the PPV service, go to AO Live and create an account by clicking the "REGISTER" button at the top of the page.  Registration is simple, just need a valid and verified email address.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I paid for a day pass but was unable to view the games on that day.  Can I still view it? 

Yes, the games on the day you purchased are available to watch 24 hours after the live stream has ended.

2. Will the games be available to watch after the tournament has ended?

Yes, approximately 2-3 weeks after the tournament has ended, all videos will be available to watch on AO.Live's YouTube Channel.

3. I purchased a tournament pass, can I share my user/pass with anyone else so they can view the games?

Only one viewer per account is permitted.  If two people log in then one will have access to view and the other will not.

4. Will all the games have play by play commentary?

No, unfortunately they will not.  Some will, some will not. This is due to the lack of volunteers it takes to make this happen unfortunately.  Should we get more volunteers willing to be an online voice for a game then we will see more play by play action.

5. Can anyone become a play by play commentator?

Maybe. If you know the sport well enough to be able to explain it to viewers and are willing to go live on video - then yes, you can become a play by play commentator.  Contact Troy Fraser by email if you are interested troy.fraser@charlottetownringette.com

6. If I wanted to try play by play commentary, what tools am I provided?

You'll get a full roster sheet of the game with numbers and last names.  Talking points about sponsors, team infomation etc.  Head gear and microphone provided by Universum Media and technical support.

7. Will play by play commentary be offered in French?

At this time, no as we do not have any French speaking commentators to provide this service.
